Our History

Acino established itself in Latin America with the acquisition of MEPHA in 2011 and significantly expanded its business in December 2023 with the acquisition of M8 Pharmaceuticals. This transformative milestone boosted Acino’s presence in Latin America and significantly diversified its product portfolio thanks to M8’s proven licensing platform.

Following the acquisition of M8, a broader LATAM region was established, now comprising Mexico, Brazil, and Candean (Ecuador, Central America, and the Caribbean).

Acino LATAM faces a fantastic opportunity to continue building a great corporate culture, attract top talent to support new businesses, and work to expand health and wellness in Latin America through an exceptional and innovative portfolio.

Acino’s Latin American headquarters are located in Mexico City, with offices in Panama City and Sao Paulo, Brazil.
